Interesting to see all the new features that Ice Cream Sandwich will bring to the mobile field, one of the greatest, the posibility to develop for both phones and tablets with the introduction of fragments, which will allow to handle the content by modifying just the layout, instead of the activity itself.
In the field of html5 I must say that the really blowed my mind away!! it´s exciting how with html5, css and javascript we can now access the resources from our machines such as, mics and camera. To be honest I thought the implementation of html5 would take longer. However, by the looks of it, we will have it in no time as a default in all the major browsers.
Those are just a couple of impressions, about what was presented in this GDD.
The only black spot was at the end of the event, the stupid storm, that hit Sydney, took me like 4 hours to get home, from Town Hall to my place in Penshurst. Usually that trip takes 25 minutes tops!
